About IMS Engineering

Since 2006, Innovative Machine Solutions (IMS) has provided quality products, services, and engineering solutions to numerous clients throughout North America. IMS is a highly-motivated engineering group that offers the most advanced machine products and services to date. We provide superior mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, metrology, maintenance and repair services to hi-tech companies, research laboratories, universities, government agencies, and large and small manufacturing facilities alike. IMS is a one-stop solution for your most challenging application needs.

BACKGROUND:
IMS was founded in 2005 by Gary L. Martin, Sr. and Carl A. Chung. The founders remain as active members to date.

The founders worked together for several years at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) in the Manufacturing and Materials Engineering Division (MMED) designing, manufacturing, assembling, and testing cutting-edge nano-precision motion controlled systems, e.g., diamond turning machines (DTM), extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUVL) machines, and destructive and nondestructive test platforms for several Government agencies worldwide.

On January 9, 2006, the founders adopted a California LLC, and set out to provide innovative machine solutions to businesses in North America and abroad.

HISTORICAL LOCATIONS:
Pleasanton, CA: IMS combined both facilities into one in 2011. We are currently located at Park Plaza in Pleasanton, California.

Dublin, CA: IMS opened its Headquarters in 2006 in the City of Dublin, California. We remained in Dublin for five years 2006 – 2011.

Brentwood, CA: IMS opened its doors in 2005 in the City of Brentwood, California. We remained in Brentwood for five years 2005 – 2010.
